Program Offerings

Each class is designed to meet the individual needs of each child while providing for the group's needs and interests. The teachers provide various activities and experiences for the children focusing on the senses, physical coordination, language development, self-help skills and social skills.  We give a 10% discount on the monthly fee for any children after the first.

Highlights:

  • The Wee-Learn curriculum is used for the 2's and Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 classes.  The guide is developed around themes that provide opportunities for the children to learn about the world around them. Themes include family, friends, animals, self, and good foods. We also share many Bible thoughts and stories.

  • Daily lesson plans and activities for each classroom.

  • A hot lunch is served daily and is included in the weekly tuition rate.

  • Pickup of after school program participants from Pineview, Saluda River and Northside Middle school.

  • Numerous field trips throughout the year.

  • A new bus that meets the new state safety requirements was purchased in 2003.

  • New playground equipment has been installed, including a set of tricycles with sizes appropriate for different ages.

  • Students are able to take gymnastics two times a month on site with instructors from Kelly's Gymnastics.

  • Students can take music from our in-house music director.

  • Chapel is usually held on Wednesday mornings with our pastor.

Our daily schedule provides opportunity for both indoor and outdoor play. Activities for the day also alternate active and quiet periods. The children participate in group activities such as story time, music, body movement, Bible lessons, finger plays, special projects, etc. Field trips are taken throughout the year and resource people come to the class. Every child has a cubby so that they have their own special place at school. Each day our program includes activities that develop concepts in the areas of language, science, social studies, number concepts, physical education, health, art, music and Christian values.
