Child Development Center
The Providence Presbyterian Church Child Development Center is a community outreach ministry of Christian service through Providence Presbyterian Church.
An advisory board made up of members of the church, an on-site director, and a parent liaison manages the Center. The Center seeks to provide quality day care for children, age six weeks through grade six and half-day kindergarten for ages three and four years.
The CDC is a fully licensed child day care center with the South Carolina Department of Social Services. We are subject to regular state health, sanitation, safety and fire inspections. All staff members are required to undergo a state and federal fingerprint check. A caregiver with CPR and First Aid certification is on the premises at all times.
Schedule:
- The Center is open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 PM. during the year with the following exceptions (holidays):
- New Year's Day (or preceding Friday or following Monday)
- Good Friday
- Memorial Day
- July 4th (or preceding Friday or following Monday)
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day and following Friday
- Christmas Day and a workday immediately before or after
In the event of a local emergency or inclement weather, we will follow any decision Lexington District Two makes before the start of each day. If the district decides to dismiss early, call the Center for our decision.
